More about Tower Town
a. Why did the Puppet Master destroy all the towers in the Tower Town ?
Floatings live in Tower Town and they are known to have a deep quest for Knowledge. Lumin trees grew on these towers where floatings studied and acquired knowledge. The Puppet Master destroyed the entire Tower Town because it contained too much magic. The floatings who lived and studied have gone into hiding due to fear of the Puppet Master’s return and are unable to continue their educational pursuit.
b. How many towers can we build in Tower Town ?
By design, you should ideally be able to build only 14 Towers in total. But due to a bug, you will be able to build an infinite number of towers in Tower Town at present.
c. How many floors can be built in a Tower ?
The maximum number of floors per tower is 28.
d. How many questions should I answer to build a floor ?
There is no set number of questions to answer to build a floor. You just need to master the mentioned skill to build 1 floor. Each floor in a tower represents a specific skill.
e. How do I know if I have mastered a skill ?
Once you master a skill, a Skill mastery award pop up mentioning “Skill Complete” shall appear.
f. I have mastered skills in Prodigy before entering Tower Town. Should I master those skills again to be able to build a floor ?
No, if you have mastered a skill earlier in Prodigy, you get a head start in Tower Town. You will be able to quickly renovate and build floors instead of answering the same skill related math questions again.
g. Why am I not able to add new floors in the Tower ?
If you keep getting too many questions wrong in a skill or if you are not answering questions in that skill for a long enough time, a shroud will appear on the floor and will lock progress until you clean the floor. To clean the floor, you have to answer 20 maths questions, correctly or incorrectly. Once you clean the floor, the shroud will disappear and you can continue building floors.
h. Can I move floors between Towers ?
Yes, you can. Remember, the maximum number of floors you can build per Tower is 28
i. What is an Infinity Tower ?
Infinity Tower is where you can create one infinitely tall tower (not restricting to 28 floors) by answering questions from many skills at a time (Regular Tower Town play limits one floor to one skill). Infinity Tower is typically locked and is only opened in 2 circumstances. First is during the placement test (applicable only for students outside of India) and the second is when your teacher enables Infinity Tower by creating an assignment for you / your class. When the Infinity Tower is turned on, all other towers are locked so that you can focus on completing your teacher’s assignment questions.
j. Why am I taken to Infinity Tower when I login to Prodigy ?
When your teacher has enabled focus mode for her class and you have selected the “Play at School” option, you would automatically be asked to work on Infinity Tower. This is done to help students to focus on completing the assignment questions set up by the teacher. If your teacher has not enabled focus mode, you would not be directed to Infinity Tower, even when you select “Play at School”
k. What else can I do in Tower Town apart from building Towers ?
You can change the looks of the tower floors by collecting elemental research samples, purchasing and adding rooms, frames and decoration items for each floor.
To collect elemental research samples, you need to make use of Floatling Fling. Floatling Fling is an ancient Floatling tradition that helps send the Floatlings out to different areas in Prodigy Island to research that element and bring it back to you. Remember, once a Floatling has been flung, it will need to rest before it can be flung again.
Each room you add has a specific element, and when built, the Floatlings that correspond to that element will return to Tower Town and become a 'roommate' for that floor.
The Quests
Why should I complete a quest?
You need to complete a quest progress through the storyline of Prodigy and earn the Warden Keystones. If you don’t know what the quest is in an area, simply speak to the quest giver.
In each zone, the quest givers are:
- Firefly Forest: Flora
- Shiverchill Mountain: Bok
- Skywatch: Brocollina and Benni
- Bonfire Spire: Slurpy
- Shipwreck Shore: Eve
How do I complete a quest?
Each quest is a bit different for each area and will require you to do different tasks. Most quests will require you to visit at least one location. A guiding handwill point you in the direction you need to go. Follow the helping hand, complete the task and return back to your quest giver to receive your next task until the quest is completed. You can view your quest progress by clicking on the zone in the World Map. Your current task will be listed above your progress bar. You can also see your friend’s current progress on the quest by clicking the right arrow button!
Why can’t I find the right monster or the item in a quest?
You won't always get the chance to find the right monster or collect the item you need to right away. Sometimes it'll take more than one battle to complete the quest. So keep trying.
All About Battles
How do I win a battle?
To win a battle, you must get your opponent’s hearts down to 0. To do this, select a spell from your spellbook and correctly answer the math question. Different spells have more power than others. The more powerful the spell is and the accuracy of your answer determines how many points get reduced for the opponent. Once the opponent's points reach zero, you win.
Why should I answer questions correctly?
When you don’t answer the question correctly, the spell you choose doesn’t strike the opponent successfully and hence doesn’t reduce the opponent’s health points. Your spell energy goes to waste.
Why do I lose hearts even after answering questions correctly?
Answering a question correctly will ensure your spell is cast on the opponent but the opponent will have a chance to strike you back. Whether the opponent is able to successfully strike you is based on chance. If he strikes you correctly, your hit points will go down and you will lose hearts.
Can I leave a battle?
You cannot leave a battle that is in progress. You can just log out and log in back but the progress in the current battle will NOT be recorded and will take place again from the beginning when you click on the same opponent.
What is a boss battle?
A boss battle is a much harder battle than the normal battles, with a unique creature or person. There are currently 12 bosses and 5 mini-bosses:
- Firefly Forest: 1 boss in final quest (Gerald)
- Shiverchill Mountain: 1 boss in second last quest (Ice Wyrm)
- Skywatch: 1 boss, 3 mini-bosses in several quests (3 Clouds in separate battles, and all 3 clouds attack together in the final quest)
- Bonfire Spire: 1 boss in second last quest (Cebollini)
- Shipwreck Shore: 1 boss in last quest (Old One)
- The Earth Tower: 1 Boss in Florian’s office after all 8 floors are completed(Shadow Gerald)
- Dark Tower: 2 bosses (Grandoff on floor 50 and Mira Shade on floor 100)
- Crystal Caverns: 3 bosses, 2 mini-bosses (Grumpy Yeti/Aspen Frost, Makalu, the Crystal Golem, Winston Von Loot, -Glacias
- Harmony Island: 1 boss when you have enough rune(The Ancient)
Why can’t I leave a boss battle?
When you are in a battle with a boss like Gerald (the sleeping giant) in Firefly Forest, you will NOT be able to leave the battle by simply logging out and coming back in again. Even if you log out and log in, you will be returned to the battle. This is because boss battles must be completed before you can move on. Either you defeat the boss or boss defeats you.
How do I defeat a boss in a boss battle?
Level up your wizard and battle team members - Try visiting other areas of the game to gain more experience. Levelling up your wizard and team members will give you access to more hearts and more powerful spells, making it easier to take on the challenge.
Make use of elemental advantage - each element (astral, plant, fire, ice, storm, water, shadow) has at least 1 other element type that it is strong against and at least one that it is weak against. Make sure you know your elements so that you can construct your team to battle the particular boss you are up against.
[Note: Astral is the neutral element that Wizards cast]

How can I collect more badges?
To collect more badges, you need to master math skills. The more math questions you answer on Prodigy lets you get more no. of badges. If you like to battle and answer math questions, continue with the quest in zones like Firefly Forest, Shiverchill Mountain, Bonfire Spire, Shipwreck Shore, Skywatch, Dark Tower and The Academy. But if you like to answer math questions without a battle, explore Tower Town
How to keep track of my friends and classmates?
To know what level your classmates and friends have reached, go to the friends menu (second last option) in the Hotbar.
There are 2 tabs: Friends and Classmates. By clicking on a classmate or friend, you will be able to check out their level, wizard name and look, the gear they possess, visit their house, battle with them or view stats like the hearts, gold, star collected and Towers built.

A request will go to the wizard when you click the “Friend request” icon. Once they accept, they will appear in your friends list. At any point in time, you can have a maximum of 20 friends only.
How do I know if I have received a friend request?
In case someone has sent you a friend request, there will be an exclamation mark on the friends and classmates menu on the Hotbar. Once you go to friends and classmates, you will see a yellow button named “Friend requests”.

To challenge another player you must be in the same world. Click on their wizard to open their player card and then select "Battle"
How do I accept challenges from other players?
When someone challenges you, you will get a notice through the awards option on the Hotbar in the bottom of your screen. You can see who has challenged you by clicking on the battle request icon within the awards menu. You can choose to accept or decline the challenge.
Why does the system automatically select a spell for me when I am in a battle with another player?
If you don’t choose a spell within 30 seconds, the system will automatically choose one spell for you and your attack will miss the intended target
Can I choose a new character or pet in a Player vs Player battle?
Yes, you can choose a new character or pet in a PvP battle when your previous one faints but you have to choose within 30 seconds else the system will automatically choose one for you. Remember: If one of your team members is defeated, then you get a free switch to allow the battle to continue. But if you want to switch team members during a battle, it eats up one of your turns.
I don’t want to battle with other players or be challenged by other players. What should I do?
PvP is completely dependent on the world you choose. If you don’t want to battle other players or be challenged by fellow players in the same world, select “Play offline” after selecting “Play at home”. Do not choose any world.
The Specifics
Levelling Up to 100
a. How many levels are there in total?
A student wizard can reach a maximum level of 100. But reaching level 100 doesn’t mean you have completely explored all areas in Prodigy Island or doesn’t also mean that the game is over. There is more.
b. Why does it take longer to move up levels after level 85?
Each level requires more stars to get to than the level before it. The higher your level, the harder it is to get to the next level.
c. What should I do after reaching level 100?
We are constantly releasing new zones, festivals and adventures to explore in Prodigy. Keep track of the upcoming releases via Wizard Watch.

Crystal Caverns
a. What are Crystal Caverns?
We all know that the Shiverchill Mountains have ice crystals which are desired by miners. These ice crystals are valuable for their energy but there are some pink power crystals which are more valuable than that. These power crystals have a strong magical energy contained in them.
Crystal Caverns is where miners will find such power crystals. This Crystal Caverns is a section within the Shiverchill Mountain fully packed with crystals lining the walls and ceiling. It is said that a large wyrm lived here and it let the miners peacefully harvest power crystals in exchange for feeding it some ice crystals.
But in recent times, this peaceful coexistence between the large wyrm and minors have been interrupted because shadow magic found its way into the caverns. The Shadow magic rooted itself into the crystals of the cave and when ice wrym was fed one of these tainted crystals by mistake, ice wrym became controlled by shadow magic and started a rampage of destroying all the minecart tracks.
Miners fled the caves, and have since stayed out of the caverns due to fear of the shadow-controlled ice wyrm. It has been said that the source of the shadow magic is coming from a Crystal Golem in the heart of the caverns, where the large supply of power crystals that have been mined is stored.
b. What should I do in Crystal Caverns?
You need to help get rid of the shadow magic by finding the enormous Golem (the dangerous boss) and defeating it. You have to save miners, travel in minecarts, repair tracks and defeat bosses other than the Golem to receive exclusive rewards on the way. You can open up all the loot containers (these containers come in different forms - chests, snow piles or boxes).
Good Tip: Visit Aspen Frost’s Food Shop without fail to collect unique healing items. Also, don’t forget to save your progress through the Crystal Caverns by using the Waystones. Waystones also help your team as you delve deeper into the caverns.
Earth Tower and Keystones
a. What is an Earth Tower?
Earth Tower is an eight-floor tower in the Academy. It opens up only when you place the keystone from Firefly Forest on the pedestal. Once you enter the Earth Tower, you can battle your way up to the 8th floor of the tower. Once you have made your way to the top floor, you will find a key to unlock the “Warden’s Office”. Upon entering the Warden’s office, you will encounter a familiar face from the past, but more powerful. You have to defeat this boss in order to free the Earth Warden (none other than Flora’s brother), and he in return will reward you with a very rare prize.
Good Tip: Even after you have rescued the Earth Warden, you will be able to re-enter the Earth Tower for more prizes!
b. How to unlock the Earth Tower?
You can unlock the Earth Tower only by placing the warden keystone from Firefly Forest on the pedestal. (Please note: To place a warden keystones on the pedestal in the Academy, you must have reached level 25)
c. Why can’t I place all 5 keystones on the Pedestal?
Currently, you will be able to place only the Warden Keystone from Firefly Forest on the Pedestal and unlock the Earth Tower. The other 4 warden keystones can be placed once other elemental towers are designed and released. In the future, we are hoping to expand on the Academy and then you can place the remaining keystones on the Pedestal.
In the meantime, there are many other areas you need to explore:
- Tower Town - Rebuild towers to help the Floatlings grow Lumin Trees. Answer questions to build floors and defeat the Puppetmaster!
- Levelling up your wizard & pets through battling monsters throughout the map - create the strongest team possible!
- Contest of the Champions - where you are able to battle other users for unique prizes and a spot on the global leader board
- Seasonal Festivals - earn unique festival currency and complete festival tasks to unlock unique prizes
- Get Daily Bounties - engage in daily bounty-quests to earn rewards
- Collect over 150+ pets available in-game - note that free accounts may only collect up to 10 pets
- Battle through 100 levels of the dark tower - note that only the first 5 floors are available for the free version of the game
- Battling the titan - this can be done alone or in a cooperative capacity with other users in-game
- The Crystal Caverns - Recently there are rumours of strange happenings near the Crystal Caverns in Shiverchill Mountains that should be investigated!
I hope this explains and gives you more to do until we have these pedestals unlocked for you!
