About Prodigy
Overview:
- With over 15 million math questions answered on Prodigy per day, we're looking for a teacher to join our education team to help ensure students around the world are able to use Prodigy not only as a practice tool, but as a platform they are able to learn from.
- This role will be on a limited period contract of 18 months initially, which will be renewed as per requirement.
Your Impact:
- Adding new math skills to expand Prodigy's coverage
- Reviewing colleague’s work for accuracy and engagement
- Building hints and lessons to help students master new concepts in an engaging format
- Updating existing skills, hints, and lessons to ensure our curriculum is held to the highest standards
- Generating ideas for features that enable Prodigy to be relied on by teachers for invaluable information on their students
- Constantly looking for ways to make Prodigy a more valuable educational tool
Who You Are:
- Bachelor of Science/Commerce
- Major or Minor in Mathematics
- Minimum 1 year teaching in K-8
- Minimum 1 year creating educational math content
- Amazing attention to detail when creating thousands of questions with minimal errors
- Creativity in coming up with variety of engaging question formats/types
- Proficient with technology and online tools (eg. G-suite, Excel)
- Ability to problem solve within a team environment
- Willingness to learn and work in a hyper-growth company
Bonus Points For:
- Bachelor of Education (B Ed)
- Additional courses/training in Mathematics
- Experience with programming
- Experience creating video lessons
