The India team's vision is to establish Prodigy as the most used and trusted supplemental mathematics product in Indian private schools. Our team members are leading Prodigy’s international expansion and are paving the way for our entry and financial sustainability in geographies which are vastly different from those of developed western markets. We envision a future where Prodigy becomes a household name in India, and students use it everyday - be it for math homework from school, as an out-of-school tutoring program, or just for the love of the game.

As the Sales and Account Manager, you will build and grow strategic partnerships with schools in India, generate revenue, drive adoption, continuous active use of Prodigy, and engagement within the school, student and teacher communities in the long term.

Your Impact:

  • You work towards rapid scale up and closure of monetised schools in your area
  • Accurately forecast future sales results, adapting to constant changes in the market
  • Manage the product usage metrics of the Prodigy schools in your area
  • Present daily/weekly KPIs to your manager
  • Do a deep dive into our current functionality of tools and adopt them quickly
  • Contribute directly to helping students learn math with Prodigy by managing the sales cycle for your accounts
  • Work with your manager to discuss, plan, and implement processes that drive desired outcomes
  • Work with your manager to identify key opportunities that will enable your area to exceed critical milestones
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to identify key opportunities for growth and development

Who You Are:

  • A prospector, who can initiate contact (cold call), demo, and close relationships with school principals, directors, and academic coordinators.
  • Experienced in B2B sales, with 4-6 years experience in solutions selling and an understanding of subscription business models
  • Able to effectively identify customer needs and communicate the value of Prodigy and present to key stakeholders in schools
  • An independent, self-starter; comfortable with ambiguity, and resilient
  • Able to manage your pipeline by forecasting and planning your activity
  • Able to improve our sales process by trying new techniques and developing new resources
  • Able to help onboard and mentor new sales team members
  • Excited to learn about game-based learning, instructional strategies
  • Ed-tech industry experience and experience in a startup environment is good to have
