When does the entry period close?
The last day to enter is Friday, September 11, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET.
Who's eligible?
Elementary school teachers, 18+, with a verified school attached in the United States (50 states + DC) or Canada (ODEF-recognized schools, excluding QC). A valid school email may be required to confirm school affiliation.
How do I enter?
Log in to Prodigy, create a new classroom (and archive your old ones), and add your students between July 20 and September 11, 2026. Once your students are added, you're automatically entered.
How do I create a classroom in Prodigy?
Log in to your teacher account, click "Create Classroom" on your dashboard, and follow the prompts.
How do I add my students in Prodigy?
You can add your students via Clever, ClassLink, or manually.
How many winners will there be?
Prodigy is giving away $50,000 in total — 200 teachers will each win a $250 Amazon e-gift card over the course of the giveaway.
How are winners selected?
Each Monday starting July 20, we randomly select 25 winners from all eligible entries from the previous week. If you're not selected one week, your entry stays in the pool and is automatically included in every following weekly draw through September 11.
Can I create multiple classes and add students for multiple entries?
No. You can only earn one entry for creating a classroom and adding students, but once you're in, you're automatically included in every weekly draw until the campaign ends — so entering early gives you more chances to win.
Can I earn extra entries?
Yes! You can earn up to two bonus entries:
- +1 entry when 5 or more of your students are actively playing Prodigy (students must be in a class created after July 1, 2026).
- +1 entry when you sign up for a Prodigy back-to-school webinar on or before September 11, 2026.
I joined Prodigy via Clever District Sync — am I still eligible?
Yes, but you'll need to log in to your Prodigy account to activate your entry. If your classroom and student roster are set up automatically via Clever District Sync, logging in is what triggers your entry into the giveaway.
How will I know if I've won, and when are winners announced?
Winners are selected every Monday and contacted via email from the Prodigy team. Only selected winners are notified — be sure to check your inbox (and spam folder) on Mondays.
Can I win more than once?
No — once you win, you're removed from the pool so we can spread the prizes to as many teachers as possible.
