How does Prodigy's Placement Test work?
Prodigy's Placement Test assesses a student's understanding of math, starting from content below their selected grade level and moving up to one grade above. It runs automatically when students start playing Prodigy Math and typically takes between 3-4 sessions to complete. Powered by our adaptive algorithm, question content will present representative strands or domains from the student's expected grade level and self-adjust to identify their strengths and struggle areas. All your students need to do is have fun exploring the world of Prodigy Math and taking part in math battles.
You can track Placement Test completion progress via email updates or by checking into your teacher portal. Once complete, you'll be notified and the results will be available inside your "Placement Test Results" report in your teacher portal.
